The Fight Has Been Won
So many times God has given me battles that I can't fight. He's given me things that I could never imagine fighting, just to show me how to rely on him. When I saw nothing he saw everything, when I saw no way, he already made one. When I gave up, he never did. When I thought I was broken he already mended me back together. I realized it wasn't that he gave me a battle that I couldn't fight; it just wasn't mine to fight. But if the battle belongs to God, how do you fight?
How do you fight a battle that isn't yours? How do you fight something that is out of your control? Faith. Faith tells me that wherever I go, God is with me. Faith tells me to be strong and courageous. Faith tells me that I am blessed. Faith tells me I'm an overcomer. Faith shows me the battles that I've won because God was on my side.
We've all been through battles where we didn't want to feel. We've been through battles that we wanted to take ahold of but couldn't because God had a greater plan. God puts us through battles and hands us test to strengthen us. He gives us battles to reassure our faith in him. I've been through battles that have broken me, built me, and made me. I've faced darkness that I never want to face again. I know I never have to face not feeling because I learned how to press play on God. I learned that when faith is my weapon the battle has already been won.
I know now that I don't have to press pause on God for the fear of losing. I know that I don't have to fear my future because God already made it. Lastly, I know when the devil comes to steal, kill, and destroy (In which he will!); that God has already won the fight. The battle is already won.
I let God give me light so I could give my light to you. Let him give you light in this darkness. Let him have this battle.
"For the Lord, your God is he who goes with you to fight for you against your enemies, to give you the victory" - Deuteronomy 20:4
